This will be a combined build, an R4-P17 fully working Dome built to a very high standard and a fast build R2-D2 body which will be static on two legs, mainly to use at shows as a centre piece.

Starting the legs
The main structure of the legs is solid MDF. it does make them heavy but also very, very strong. Even thought this will not be a powered build I have placed wires in the legs for underfoot lighting and the possibility for future movement.
